Since man is always looking for the best, he is never satisfied and his mind is never at peace. Whenever he reaches a position, he looks to something higher than it, and whenever he tastes the sweetness of a stage, he looks to something sweeter than it. Since Al-Quds University is constantly striving to develop its academic programs, especially with regard to postgraduate programs, due to their great importance at the university level and at the level of society, the Department of Jurisprudence and Legislation saw the need to create a program that grants a master’s degree in jurisprudence, legislation and its principles, in order to meet the needs of society by providing it with qualified personnel in this field.

Therefore, the Faculty of Da’wah and Fundamentals of Religion at Al-Quds University moved towards creating this program in the year 2005/2006.

The importance of the program on jurisprudence, legislation, and its principles lies in a number of aspects, including:
  1. The College of Da’wah and Fundamentals of Religion is one of the first colleges established at Al-Quds University, as it was founded in 1978 AD, and it was the nucleus of Al-Quds University.
  2. The College of Da'wah and Fundamentals of Religion boasts a distinguished faculty of professors with extensive experience in university teaching.
  3. Many graduates of this college and other similar colleges aspire to complete their higher education in the field of jurisprudence, legislation and its principles.
  4. The Jurisprudence and Legislation program of the College of Da’wah and Fundamentals of Religion seeks to create a unique generation of graduates who possess a balanced Sharia perspective on matters, far from excess and negligence.
  5. The proposed program qualifies students to complete their studies in the aforementioned specialization in a doctoral program at any university in the Islamic world.
