Admission Requirements
Admission to the master’s program in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology requires the following:
- A baccalaureate degree in health sciences or its related fields (e.g., Biology, Biochemistry, Medical Technology, Pharmacology, Medicine or Dentistry with a minimum average of 75 % (according to the grading system of candidates’ original university). For the MSc Track without Thesis, candidates are accepted with 70% average in BSc.
- Completion of not less than 3 credit hours in computer science and 4-6 hours in the field of general biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, organic chemistry on the undergraduate level.
- Completion of 4-8 credit hours in Biochemistry with final grade above 70%.
- Two recommendation letters from previous professors and/or latest employer.
- Passing the personality assessment on the bases of interview conducted by the graduate admission committee.
- To fulfill any other requirements for admission to the master’s program according to the higher education regulations of Al-Quds University.
- Candidates are required to submit references or letter(s) of recommendation for acceptance
