The Master of Education in Early Childhood is one of the tracks of the Teaching Methods program, which seeks to achieve leadership in education and learning, and scientific research at the local, regional and Palestinian community levels.
The Strategic Plan for Early Childhood (2017-2023) emphasized the importance of concerted national efforts to support early childhood development and intervention programs. This aims to invest in strengthening the education, health, and protection system in early childhood, and to provide the best conditions for children's holistic and integrated development. The Palestinian Ministry of Education and Higher Education has given significant attention to training and preparing kindergarten teachers who possess the necessary educational and learning competencies and who contribute to children's development. This is achieved by enabling universities to supply kindergartens with qualified teachers who understand the specific needs of this stage (MOHE, 2017). As a result of the law mandating kindergarten education, the Palestinian Ministry of Education and childhood institutions seek to employ supervisors with a master's degree in early childhood education who are willing to develop their scientific and professional skills to meet the needs of the labor market in the field of early childhood education. Al-Quds University is a pioneer in this approach, as no other university offers such a program. The Palestinian university offers a Master's degree in Childhood Studies due to the lack of specialists with PhDs in early childhood education.
This program offers specialized training in early childhood, encompassing nursery and kindergarten from birth to age six. It equips students to meet the requirements for achieving holistic and integrated child development and to educate them according to local, regional, and international scientific, research-based, and practical principles, thereby contributing to the advancement of the early childhood sector in Palestine.

Admission Requirements
- To hold a bachelor's degree with a good grade from a recognized university
- His specialization should be related to educational and childhood disciplines.
- If the student is from a major far removed from the field of education, the decision regarding the acceptance of the application rests with the committee, and the number of remedial courses is determined by the committee.
- Successfully pass the personal interview with the committee.
