The Department of Physical Education was established in the academic year 1999/2000 by a decision of the university administration under the umbrella of the Faculty of Arts. The department includes a distinguished group of faculty members, numbering (8), of whom (2) are associate professors, (4) are assistant professors, and (2) hold master's degrees. The department offers a specialization in physical education (individual) or (major) and a specialization in physical education (minor). Since its establishment, the department has been able to graduate batches of specialized students. It should be noted that a student in the Department of Physical Education must successfully complete 142 credit hours to obtain a bachelor's degree in the specialization of physical education, which qualifies him to be a physical education teacher, coach, referee, supervisor or administrator in fitness clubs, or a coach for scouting groups in schools.

Meeting all the conditions stipulated by the academic regulations.

Passing the following subjects: Sports Psychology (0411177), Introduction to Anatomy (0411171) and Introduction to Physical Education (0411112), with a minimum average of 65%.
