Objective of the Training: The program aims to train agricultural professionals who possess the intelligence, broad knowledge of natural sciences, engineering, agriculture, and economics necessary for the practical activities in agriculture. Students will gain general proficiency in the scientific fields related to agricultural production, processing, and management and they become capable of creatively applying their knowledge in practice. Based on their preparation, graduates will be able to manage agricultural enterprises independently, apply modern technologies used in agricultural sectors, produce and market high quality agricultural products, establish and operate agribusinesses, and analyse and manage commercial and economic processes related to agriculture. With the knowledge acquired, they are ready to continue their studies in master’s programs and specialized further education.
During the program, students will engage with nature and sustainability. They will learn about global and specific problems affecting agriculture and the potential solutions to these issues (such as climatic change, environmental protection, landscape preservation, biodiversity, etc.).
Graduates have the opportunities for employment in both the public and private sectors within companies involved in agricultural production, processing, and trade. There may also be opportunities in rural and regional development, within the related institutional network, ministries, and public administration sectors.
