Our programme is primarily practice-oriented with an emphasis on exercises in drawing, graphic design, painting and digital imaging and design backed up by professionally-equipped workshops and studios. In addition, the integration of contemporary art trends and processes into the training is a continuous process, which is ensured by the training and professional diversity of our instructors. The perspective of our graduates provides solid foundations for navigating the visual world with regard to both the applied and the artistic fields of visual representation. Our students are able to study the expressive potentials of visual language. and to use these autonomously, they have the theoretical and practical knowledge and creative skills to work independently and find jobs in the creative industrial sector, or continue their studies in master programmes at Hungarian or foreign universities.

For applicants

We welcome applicants interested in the technical background to classical art and in the intensive studio work with materials and various techniques. Developing vision and spatial imaging, operating graphic machines is not a matter of preserving tradition in our programme, but serves as a means of developing a complex and distinctive visual language necessary for capturing the contemporary world. In order to achieve this purpose, the compositional foundation programme is based on the Bauhaus educational traditions and teaching methods which use visuality as a constructive language. Our courses on digital image making cover technological and design exercises in line with contemporary visual art trends. They are complemented by innovative individual or team work exercises, projects involving students majoring in various programmes, and an internship contributing to building professional networks and creating and installing exhibitions
