Landscape managers and garden construction engineers are qualified to work in the fields of landscape and garden construction, maintenance and operation, and to deal with landscape value protection issues. They must have proper knowledge to improve the quality of the environment. They are also trained to fill positions in the technical departments of municipalities and specialised authorities. Although landscape managers and garden construction engineers are not licensed landscape architects, they can work on small design tasks, like family gardens.
The aim of the program is to train landscape planners and horticultural engineers who, with their ecological, technical, architectural technological, economic and management knowledge, are prepared to carry out the tasks of garden construction, construction-execution, arrangement, maintenance and operation of the environment of the landscape, settlements and various facilities, and also they have in-depth theoretical knowledge to continue the training in the second cycle (master's degree).
