As a student of classics, he/she will learn about global history while focusing on archaeology, mythology, and the cultural legacy of Greece and Rome. Students of this program will develop language skills in Greek and Latin. The Classical Studies program stresses critical writing and reading skills. In fourth year, student may write an honours thesis based on primary research in an area of his/her interest. Bachelor of Arts with Double Major in Classical Studies requires either; Classical Studies as one major in a double major program requires 36 credit hours; or 54 credit hours in Classical Studies are required for honours in Classics with a double major.
