Theatre involves a collaboration that relies on the talents of designers, lighting and sound technicians, carpenters, painters, media and box office administrators. Acadia’s Theatre program gives students a strong grounding in theatre, as well as professional preparation from faculty members. There are two main streams of study within the program – performance and production. The production stream is a multi-disciplinary program that allows students to focus their studies on the backstage elements of theatre instead of on performance.
