Community Development focuses on developing fundamental skills and methodologies that will allow students to work face-to-face with communities and improve conditions for others. Students will improve their communication and leadership skills and learn how to work effectively in group and multi-stakeholder settings. Students will also learn how to work collaboratively within government, political, and economic systems and policies. Bachelors of Community Development with Psychology degree consists of 120 credit hours in total or 40 courses over four years. However, some courses are offered in alternative formats, including activity labs that are 1.5 hours.
