The MSc by Research in Cartography and Infographics, within the Faculty of Social and Applied Sciences, aims to develop researchers who are conceptually aware, who can utilise a range of cartographic and computing skills and methods, and who can practise and develop their own research capabilities, and disseminate that research in a meaningful way. Students from across the MSc by Research subject areas share a programme of study that explores the challenges common to all researchers. Students will undertake an individual research project that will take the form of a thesis (25,000-30,000 words).
