This course will provide students with the practical expertise desired by the industry. Students will also be able to gain experience with a range of employers through our Life Sciences Industry Liaison Lab at Discovery Park in Sandwich, Kent. Biomedical scientists play a crucial role in supporting health professionals and driving innovation through research. This hands-on course will help students develop wide knowledge and expert skills in human biology, chemistry and bioinformatics, so that students have the confidence to reach their full potential and succeed in their chosen career path. This course will explore genetics and evolution to getting to grips with statistical programming and biotechnology, allowing students to develop advanced practical, analytical and research skills as well as transferable skills that employers are looking for.
