The course gives students the chance to study world history and culture from the end of the Roman Empire to the French Revolution. Surrounded by the ancient sites of Canterbury Cathedral and St Augustine's Abbey, students will be able to fully immerse yourself in this fascinating subject in our friendly and supportive campus. The lecturers have undertaken internationally recognised research. They'll share their enthusiasm with students and teach students all about the period from the fall of the Roman Empire to the Age of Enlightenment. To complement one’s studies and broaden his/her knowledge, students will be able to take modules in a range of humanities subjects, from archaeology, English literature and history to theology.
