Sociology is a fascinating subject that investigates the ways in which social life is organised, structured and experienced. Sociologists study a wide range of topics including social class and poverty, race and ethnicity, gender and sexuality, crime and deviance, families, social order and social change. The foundation year provides students with the fundamental skills and abilities to be able to study at university level.
