Launched in 2019, the Bachelor of Arts and Science in Integrated Innovation (BAScii International Program) is one of the newest international programs in Chulalongkorn University under the faculty-level School of Integrated Innovation (ScII).
As a response to the changes in the industry and social needs triggered by the 4th industrial revolution, BAScii offers its students a transdisciplinary curriculum that dissolves the traditional boundaries of conventional disciplines and synthesizes diverse subjects while providing experiences from academia as well as the corporate sector.
Throughout the program, students gain soft skills required in the 21st century and obtain knowledge in both business and technology cores, while continuously working on their own start-up projects across all four years of the degree. These projects address key challenges within the areas of four specializations offered in the program – Health and Wellbeing, Smart City and Inclusive Community, Sustainable Development and Digital Economy, AI and Robotics.
BAScii is not just a degree, but a multifaceted platform and ecosystem in the context of future-oriented education. It leads towards global sustainability for international talents aiming to foster entrepreneurial capacities of each student and equip them with 21st century skills for lifelong learning. As they become a part of this ecosystem, students gain access to the best scholars, startup founders, industry internships and global partnerships with top-ranked universities or corporations to support their learning outside of the classroom. All BAScii experiences are tailored towards developing business and industries of the future with promising international career prospects.

It was officially established on March 26 1917 by King Vajiravudh (Rama VI) and named after his father King Chulalongkorn (Rama V) as he initiated a policy to promote education so the country to adapt to the developing world and avoid colonization.Chulalongkorn University opened with four faculties, Medicine, Public Administration, Engineering, and Arts and Sciences and an enrollment of 380 students.
