The Department of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering offers a doctoral program (S3) for graduates of the Master's program from various engineering fields. The degree earned by graduates is a Doctorate (Dr) which can be achieved in 6 semesters (3 years). Students are required to complete courses and a dissertation with a total of 42 credits. Other graduation requirements include a minimum TOEFL score of 500, and publications in at least 1 reputable international journal (indexed by Scopus) and 2 reputable international seminars (indexed by Scopus). This doctoral program is supported by qualified teaching staff and supervisors: 6 professors and 2 associate professors (head lecturers); and is supported by adequate facilities, namely: lecture halls, laboratories, libraries, internet, computers, study rooms, sports facilities, and others.
