The Masters Study Program (S2) of the Department of Electrical Engineering was established based on Decree Number 107/DIKTI/Kep/1993 with the Decree date on February 27, 1993, accredited by BAN-PT with the Latest Decree 2977/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/M/VIII/2019. To date, it has graduated more than 1750 alumni, spread across Indonesia and abroad. The ITS Master of Electrical Engineering study program is supported by 51 teaching staff (S3) with 10 Professors. There are six areas of expertise, namely Power Systems Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Multimedia Telecommunications, Electronics Engineering, Multimedia Smart Networks, and Telematics.


The Master of Electrical Engineering students consist of domestic and international students. Graduates of the ITS Master of Electrical Engineering study program are spread across Indonesia and abroad with professions as university lecturers, researchers, industry practitioners, government employees, and others. The study period in the ITS Electrical Engineering Masters Study Program is carried out over 4 semesters (2 years), with a total credit load of 36 credits, consisting of 28 credits of compulsory and elective courses, and 8 credits of Thesis courses. Educational collaborations that have been carried out include Joint Degree programs (2 diplomas) and Student Exchange with universities in France, Japan, Taiwan, Australia and Turkey. New student admissions are held every odd and even semester. For the Telematics Expertise area, the Ministry of Communication and Informatics provides scholarships for the Government PeTIK program, which are accepted only in odd semesters.
