The need for actuarial experts in Indonesia is extremely pressing. Current statistics show that annual premium income growth in the life and general insurance industries in Indonesia ranges from 20% to 30%, which is relatively low compared to the levels achieved by several ASEAN member countries. This indicates significant future growth potential and has attracted considerable interest from investors from outside Indonesia to invest in the Indonesian insurance industry. This reality has resulted in a growing need for actuarial experts in Indonesia, especially in the future. Currently, the number of actuarial experts produced by universities is extremely limited, as evidenced by the very small number of universities offering undergraduate Actuarial Science programs. The ITS Undergraduate Program in Actuarial Science offers a unique curriculum. The ITS Undergraduate Program in Actuarial Science offers areas of interest that will become specialized competencies, namely: Catastrophe Insurance, Marine Insurance, and Sharia Insurance.
