The MSc Intelligence and Security Studies will examine key issues in intelligence, security and security studies at local, national and global levels. This programme is delivered fully online in partnership KNECT365/Informa. Students will explore topics such as threats from terrorism, organised crime, radicalisation and intelligence failures, as well as an assessment of security strategies such as horizon scanning. During the programme, students will use reflection and analysis to understand and develop their own area of expertise within the fields of intelligence analysis, security studies and criminology. The course aims to provide an analysis of important intelligence and security events and issues of the late 20th and 21st century and connects the practical basis of intelligence to the broader issues facing the international system.
