The BA (Hons) Sports Journalism aims to equip each student to become a professional journalist. Students will gain access to facilities such as editing suites, newsrooms, radio sound studios and a TV studio at Liverpool Screen School. Merseyside is the host of some of the world's best sporting events, from the Open Golf Championship, to Premier League football and the greatest horse race in the world. Students will have the opportunities to write for and publish on the highly regarded JMU Journalism website and printed newspaper. This vocational course offers many opportunities for practical, hands-on experience and work placements at the local, national and international media and sports clubs.
