The purpose of the educational and professional programme is to train nationally conscious, scientifically erudite and competitive specialists in the field of primary education, capable of solving complex pedagogical tasks and problems, conducting research on the theory and methodology of primary education, mastering oral and written professional speech in various communication situations, providing psychological support to participants in the educational process and taking care of the mental health of students.
Features of the EPP: 
training of specialists with profound skills in the methodology of scientific pedagogical research in primary education; development of competencies to provide psychological support to students, identify signs of psychological trauma and other psychological conditions, prevent manifestations of post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety disorders and depression among primary school children. Availability of research and pedagogical practices that allow for the comprehensive implementation of research and pedagogical skills of primary school teachers.
