The objective of the Educational and Professional Programme:
To prepare a specialist who is able to solve complex theoretical and practical problems in the field of public health on the basis of theoretical knowledge, skills and other competencies acquired by the person sufficient to solve complex problems in the field of professional activity, mastering the methodology for assessing risks to life and health of the population at the individual and population level.
Features of the EPP:
Acquisition of professional competencies necessary for the preparation and implementation of measures to implement the national principle of ‘Health care in all state policies’ in the development of the national public health system, improvement of the environment, prevention/elimination of biological threats, and the formation of a healthy lifestyle.
The EP provides for the completion of introductory, educational, research, and industrial practices that take place on the basis of the research centres of Ostroh Academy Human Ecology and Public Health and Innovative and Non-invasive Technologies in Health Care, specialised profile institutions and organisations involved in the field of public health (including laboratory centres of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine). including laboratory centres of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Public Health Centres, territorial institutions of the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection and their structural units, and medical and preventive healthcare institutions in various areas of activity).
