The purpose of the educational and professional programme is to train qualified political scientists who have the basic categorical, conceptual, analytical and research apparatus of political science and knowledge of political theory and practice. The acquired competencies can be applied in expert and analytical, political and organisational, consulting and public activities.
Features of the EPP:
The theoretical content of the subject area covers key approaches and concepts in normative and positive political theory, political analysis, comparative and applied political science, and special political science disciplines. The student learns the main approaches and methods of policy analysis: public choice theory, rational choice theory, game theory, neo-institutionalism theory, etc. An integral part of education is mastering the methodology of modern social sciences, including quantitative and qualitative methods and tools of applied analysis and statistical programming language. Some courses are taught in English and Polish. Internships at Erasmus+ partner universities.
