Our PhD program in transportation engineering is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of transportation infrastructure, traffic engineering, and transportation planning. We are constantly striving to stay at the forefront of modern technology and innovation in transportation engineering. Our faculty members are engaged in cutting-edge research in areas such as intelligent transportation systems, sustainable transportation, pavement recycling, pavement design and traffic safety. We also offer courses on emerging topics such as autonomous vehicles and transportation network design. Additional to our academic programs and research initiatives, we are committed to promoting sustainable and equitable transportation practices in the communities we serve. We work closely with government agencies, non-profit organizations, academia, and other stakeholders to develop transportation policies and solutions that promote safety, accessibility, and sustainability.

Admission Requirements
General Eligibility :
18 years of education in a related discipline as given below with minimum CGPA 3.0/4.0, 3.75/5.0 (in the Semester System) or First Division (in the Annual System) in M. Phil/MS/Equivalent with research work. The candidate should have completed a minimum of 30 credit hours of coursework OR 24 credit hours of coursework and 06 credit hours of thesis/research work. The percentage will be valid only if the CGPA is not mentioned in the degree/transcript.
