MS in Development Studies program capitalize on the true merit of social science scholarship by creating an interdisciplinary approach to revive and foster critical debate on the challenges and potential found in the field of development. It produces graduates, well versed in development theories and contemporary debates and attentive to the complexities of social, economic, and political development in the Pakistani context. This program has successfully cultivated a new class of locally trained development practitioners equally capable of mobilizing the strengths of critical social science scholarship in any stage or scale of development sector work: as technical specialists in DMG groups, as foreign officers in government service, as NGO activists, and as policy makers and researchers.
This program is based on in-total 36 CHs, including 6 CHs of MS Thesis and three streams of specliatlisation.
