SCAD offers the world's first M.A. and M.F.A. degrees in luxury and brand management. As a student, you'll enter the $350 billion global luxury industry through tech, travel, hospitality, beauty and fragrance, and fashion. Guided by professors with deep industry backgrounds and collaborative projects with luxury brands, you'll be prepared to step into powerful roles in the highest echelons of the field upon graduation. Through wide-ranging electives, internships, and thesis research, you’ll learn to create your own compelling proposals and business solutions relevant to the international luxury market. Luxury and brand management students regularly collaborate with their graduate colleagues in fashion, fibers, accessory design, and related departments to gain intimate knowledge of the luxury market.

While not required of most applicants, submission of GRE scores is strongly encouraged for applicants to architectural history, art history, business design and arts leaderships and cinema studies. Additionally, if your undergraduate program doesn't meet certain requirements regarding accreditation and/or approval by the U.S. Department of Education, GRE scores may be required. Please discuss this with your admission adviser to be sure what will be required of you. Acceptance into graduate programs at SCAD is based heavily on the portfolio. Unlike undergraduate portfolios, graduate program portfolios are required for acceptance and must be program-specific. Each program has its preferred types of portfolios.
