Production Design, B.F.A.

At SCAD, our production design program is bursting at the seams with opportunity. Through a department committed to a comprehensive approach, our students have opportunities many production designers only dream of, regularly contributing to projects with big names and industry powerhouses. Our production design alumni are employed around the world at 20th Century Fox, Discovery Communications, Food Network, HBO, HGTV, MTV Networks, NBC Universal, New American Shakespeare Tavern, Nickelodeon and the Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts. Production design is an ever-evolving field. In order to thrive in such an industry, many students choose to pursue a double major or related minor while they are here. You can explore new perspectives, harness diverse creative approaches, and develop a unique, well-rounded style — all while earning multiple degrees.
