Admission Requirements

Application Fee:

Prospective applicants must pay a non-refundable online application fee when submitting their admission form through the official portal. The fees vary by unit:

Unit A (Science): BDT 1,250

Unit B (General/Humanities/Business): BDT 1,200

(If applying to more than one unit, fees apply separately for each unit selected.)

Admission Fee:

For students who are successfully admitted into undergraduate programs, SUST charges an admission fee. For recent academic sessions, this has been adjusted by the university: the admission fee for the 2024–25 session was set at BDT 14,900, following a reduction from earlier announced amounts after student feedback.

Semester/Enrollment Fee:

Once enrolled, students are typically required to pay a semester fee for ongoing registration. According to official notices for continuing students, the semester fee is:

BDT 4,900 per semester for current SUST students, faculty, and staff

BDT 9,900 per semester for other students (per semester)

(This applies to continuing academic sessions and may be different for new admission fee structures.)

Notes:

Exact tuition or credit-based fee structures beyond the standard semester and admission fees are not publicly detailed in the official admission notice; SUST generally handles tuition/semester charges centrally rather than on a per-credit basis like some private universities.

Fees may vary slightly by academic program and intake year; students are advised to consult the official admission website for the latest circular and detailed fee breakdown.
