The syllabus for the Graduate Program covers the requisite courses for the following degrees:

(1)     Masters (Course work)

(2)     Masters (Mixed Mode)

(3)     Masters (Research Mode)

(4)     Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)

Masters (Course work) in Food Engineering and Tea Technology is spreaded over two semesters, Masters (Mixed Mode) is spreaded over three semesters and Masters (Research Mode) in Food Engineering and Nutrition is spreaded over four semesters.

The department will fix the courses of two semesters for Masters by Coursework (General) students, the minimum requirement of 24 credits for the degree.

For the Masters by Mixed Mode students, department will fix the courses of two semesters, which will be identical of the Masters (General) students. The graduate studies committee (GSC) will approve the thesis for semester-III.

For the Masters by Research Mode students, department will fix the courses of two semesters, which will be identical of the Masters (General) students. The graduate studies committee (GSC) will approve the thesis for semester-III and IV considering the minimum requirement of 48 credits for the M.Sc (Engg.) degree.
