Access to further studies: Master graduates may continue their education for educational degree “PhD” in Bulgaria and abroad  Program importance: Importance of industrial engineering education consists in increasing demand for specialist in industrial engineering in Bulgaria and all over the world.  General characteristics of the education:  Degree program "Industrial engineering" is a branch of engineering dealing with the optimization of complex processes or systems. The course is both of a theoretical and practical nature. We offer graduates the opportunity to build on their first degree and/or work experience by offering a range of knowledge and skills which enables them to become professionals capable of designing, implementing and managing complex processes or systems. Educational and professional goals: After completing the course students will be able to: - - - - -  -  -  -  -  Participate in and lead cross-functional teams, designing, implementing and improving processes and systems in the manufacturing, service or government sectors; Work effectively in managerial and leadership positions; Work and communicate effectively with internal and external team members in the global environment; Engage in continuous learning through varied work assignments, graduate school, professional training programs and independent study; Assess the likely contribution systems and processes can make to the capability of an organization; Place, organizational business activities in a global enterprise context; Understand management principles and use system approach to make appropriate decisions; Apply their skills and their knowledge to promote successful deployment of complex systems; Assess the effectiveness of complex processes and identify potential improvements. Employment of the graduates:  Graduates can expect to find employment as consultants, systems analysts and designers, enterprise consultants and managers, programmers and application developers.
