Mechatronic Systems  provides complex fundamental and specialized training in compliance with the Bulgarian Higher Education Act. Students’ admission follows the related rules established by the Technical University of Sofia.

Mechatronic Systems is an interdisciplinary engineering field comprising various components, such as mechanical systems /units, mechanisms, devices, appliances, machines and different sets of engineering equipment; electronic systems /microelectronics, power electronics, sensors and actuators etc./; information systems /computing devices, software packages, modeling, 3D design, engineering analysis, simulation/.

Apply the rules for admission set by the TU Sofia [email protected]

Training in  Mechatronic Systems  proceeds on the base of compulsory and optional subjects of study. The compulsory ones are fundamental /Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Informatics, Engineering Graphics/, humanitarian /Economics, Management and Marketing/ and general engineering /Material science, Mechanics, Electrical engineering, Electronics, Microelectronics, Automatic control and Management, Machine elements and Mechanisms, Microprocessors, Sensors and Actuators/.

Optional subjects form the following directions of training:

  • ROBOTIC DEVICES
  • PRECISION AND MICROMECHANICAL EQUIPMENT

Students are listed in the relevant direction depending on their expressed preferences and under consideration of the achieved results during the first two years of training.

Graduates are awarded the Bachelor-degree in the Engineering field of  Mechatronic Systems  and are professionally certified as Mechanical engineers.

Bachelor-degree-holders can, if desired, continue their studies and obtain the higher Master-degree in the field of  Mechatronic Systems .

Alumni can pursue careers in any branch of business, science, state and EU administrations etc. requiring a higher level of education in the corresponding specialty.
