The "Industrial Management" specialty aims to enable students to develop knowledge, skills, and competencies that meet the current needs of the labor market and management professions in industrial organizations in various sectors of the economy and industrial production.

The industrial management learning model for the winter and summer semester curriculum is developed in close cooperation with the Technical University of Braunschweig, Germany. Technical University of Braunschweig is part of TU9 and is one of the top nine universities in Germany for engineering majors. The training actively focuses on innovation in the learning process, hands-on learning, and collaboration with industry and practitioners. Training in the specialty "Industrial Management" is from professional field 5.13 General Engineering.

In response to the high demands of the labor market, the need to develop the competencies of the 21st century, as well as the educational standards, the Master's degree "Industrial Management" covers a complex of competencies - basic, technical, professional (management competencies). Competences are developed within 1080 hours of classroom and 3120 outside classroom employment, with a study duration of 4 semesters and 1 semester of diploma work. The set of elective subjects creates prerequisites for the application of a personalized approach in education. The training is conducted in German language.

The training actively focuses on innovations in the learning process, practical training and cooperation with organizations from the practice. Lectures, seminars and consulting for the development of a diploma thesis are conducted by professors from Germany and Bulgaria.

Upon successful completion of studies in Bulgaria, students graduate as "Master of Industrial Management" and receive a Bulgarian and German diploma. The German diploma is issued by the Technical University of Braunschweig, Germany. The duration of the study is 4 semesters, and the diploma design is 1 semester.

This includes compulsory subjects and freely elective subjects (5 semesters, regular form, winter and summer semester). The acquired knowledge and skills are the result of the studied disciplines: Introduction to the specialty; Accounting; Law I; Business Economics; Business informatics; Basics of Marketing; Business German; Empirical studies; Controlling; Marketing Management; Intercultural communications; Business English; Project management; Innovation management; Ergonomics and labor protection; Quality management; Financial Management; Strategic Management; Management simulation game.

Opportunities for student mobility

Students can study within one semester at the partner university in Germany, the Technical University of Braunschweig, they can develop their thesis, as well as participate in student mobility under the Erasmus program.

The career development and professional growth of Industrial Management students begins with the training. The variety of opportunities for their professional employment at the different management levels of industrial organizations is the result of the development of management competencies, as well as technical competencies related to the practical use of software solutions and technologies for making effective management decisions in the dynamically changing environment in industry (Industry 4.0). The successful implementation of the students is the result of partnerships with a number of organizations from industry and business - FESTO, Liebherr, Siemens, BASF, BOSCH, Würth, BLUBITO, Musala Soft, Microsoft, HP and many others.
