Professional Sphere. Graduates of the "Finance" educational program are prepared for professional careers within government agencies and institutions, financial departments of diverse corporate entities, commercial banks, and credit organizations. Their expertise is highly sought after in auditing and consulting firms, tax authorities, insurance and investment companies, and regulatory bodies governing financial and economic activities. Furthermore, the programs provide a robust foundation for careers in research and academic institutions.

      The primary objects of professional activity include financial resources, cash flows, assets, liabilities, and equity of economic entities. Graduates manage financial and economic operations, the formation and utilization of budgetary and extra-budgetary funds, financial reporting, and systems of accounting, auditing, and financial control. Additionally, the scope of activity encompasses the operations of organizations across various sectors, including public administration and regulatory bodies (such as Ministries, the State Revenue Committee, and the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan), as well as financial-credit institutions, research centers, and private enterprises of all ownership forms.

   The Finance program aim to produce competitive professionals equipped with systemic knowledge and practical competencies in finance, accounting, auditing, and taxation, capable of operating effectively within a globalized and digitalized economy.

Upon completion, graduates will be able to:

- Analyze and evaluate the financial and economic performance of organizations.

- Prepare and verify financial statements in accordance with National and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

- Apply advanced methods of financial analysis, auditing, and internal control.

- Utilize modern digital information technologies and adhere to financial and tax legislation.

The university operates specialized educational and research laboratories, as well as creative workshops equipped with modern facilities. These resources ensure practice-oriented training for master’s students in the "Finance" program, specifically:

Center for Economic Research and Financial Management – dedicated to conducting applied and scholarly research in finance, economics, and management. The center focuses on analyzing socio-economic processes and developing analytical reports and research projects for master’s students and faculty.

Since 2023, master’s students and faculty have been active users of the Coursera educational platform. Through this partnership, they acquire additional competencies in applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) within their respective fields of study and research.

Magistracy  is divided into two types:  the scientific and pedagogical direction, the term of training  2 years  and there is a   possibility to apply for a state educational grant. To apply for both paid and educational grant you need to pass   comprehensive testing in the following disciplines:
