International Marketing Management and Organization (IMMO) is a two-year, English-taught Master of Science (Laurea Magistrale) program that is designed to enhance students' business education and provide a strong foundation for their career development. Internationalization, innovation, and sustainability are at the heart of the program, both in its approach and in its courses. By combining academic rigor with exposure to the business world, the curriculum allows students to delve deeply into the most compelling issues facing today's internationalized companies: from intercultural negotiation to international marketing; from sustainability to business process reengineering; from innovation management to international logistics. Thanks to small class size, IMMO uses a participatory approach to learning, that requires the active involvement of students. Through teamwork, students acquire the ability to work on projects, to manage complex tasks independently, to deal with conflict, and to manage their working time. The academic curriculum is complemented by an internship, in Italy or abroad. Exchange at partner universities is strongly encouraged. IMMO has a double degree agreement with the Carinthia University of Applied Sciences, which grants an Austrian degree in International Business Management.

Selecting the right scholarship can be a daunting process. With countless options available, students often find themselves overwhelmed and confused. The decision can be especially stressful for those facing financial constraints or pursuing specific academic or career goals.
To help students navigate this challenging process, we recommend the following articles:
First, it is compulsory to apply online for admission requirements’ evaluation procedure, which include an assessment of your bachelor degree, previous experiences, and language skills. We require an online interview.
In case of a positive evaluation, it is possible to finalize the enrolment online and become a full-time enrolled student of UNIUD. For more info go directly to https://www.uniud.it/prospectivestudents or write an e-mail to [email protected]
What are the core courses of the program?
IMMO prepares students for middle and top management positions in internationally oriented companies. The core subject areas are International Management, International Economics, Business Strategy, Relationship Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Leading Change, Managing Teams.
Furthermore, most of the courses deal with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, and three courses are specifically dedicated to this topic: Integrated Reports & Environmental Accounting; Environmental & Resource Economics; Management for Sustainable Business.
Are international students eligible to apply for international mobility programs?
Yes. All IMMO students – Italian and international ones – can apply for a semester mobility at an Erasmus or extra-EU partner university, for a double degree mobility at the Carinthia University of Applied Sciences in Austria, and for an internship abroad.
Is the teaching based only on lectures?
No. We use a variety of teaching methods, that require active student participation: team-based simulations, discussions of case studies, interviews with managers, project work on issues facing partner companies, and company visits.
Do you work in partnership with companies?
We are located in a highly industrialized region where there are many small and medium-sized enterprises and multinational companies competing in global markets. It is natural for us to work with them, both to enhance our teaching and to provide internship opportunities for students, in Italy and abroad.
