The Master's program in Industrial Engineering for Sustainable Manufacturing offers a unique combination of industry-focused engineering and management skills with a working knowledge of technologies and analytic methodologies supporting the transition to zero-carbon and circular production processes.
We welcome students with an undergraduate degree in any field of industrial engineering and train them to become either Mechanical Engineers or Management Engineers who can make a difference towards more sustainable industrialization, production, and distribution patterns by introducing innovation ranging from renewable energy to hydrogen technologies, from robotics to additive manufacturing.
The MSc in Industrial Engineering for Sustainable Manufacturing is entirely taught in English, and stands out because of its practical nature, relying on both project- and laboratory-based teaching approaches. It also features strong connections with the cross-border industrial ecosystem at the foothills of the Alps in the areas of energy-intensive and hard-to-abate industries, circular economy, metallurgy, and new materialsProgram overview
