The Molecular, Cellular and Functional Biology of Hematopoiesis course aims to introduce the student to the molecular and cellular parameters governing the various concepts of proliferation, differentiation and cell death, common to all living cells, using a model of choice, the blood cell. The molecular mechanisms involved in the cellular dynamics of the hematopoietic cell are presented (from ontogenesis to specific function and from pathology to therapeutic tools). This course is the national "reference" for scientific students, doctors or pharmacists wishing to do basic and applied research in hematology.
Goals This scientific training aims to introduce students to the molecular and cellular parameters that govern the various concepts of cell proliferation, differentiation and death, based on a model of choice, the production of blood cells. The molecular mechanisms common to all living cells are presented:
a- from stem cell to differentiated cell, b- from ontogeny to specific function  c- from pathology to therapeutic tools.
  • Know and understand the theoretical bases of hematology and immunology in their molecular, cellular and physiopathological aspects.
  • Understand the principles of the therapeutic strategies commonly used in hematology.
  • Master the biotechnological and methodological approaches for the development of innovative therapies in Hematology.
