Our part-time MSc in Project Management offers you all the advantages of a custom-designed course to foster the ability to think critically, plan strategically and implement effectively - without putting your career on hold
Structured as a fully online programme, the MSc in Project Management is delivered over two years. Classes are held online on Monday and Wednesday 6pm – 9pm in year one and Tuesday and Thursday 6pm – 9pm year two.
This flexibility means students can gain a UCD qualification whilst based anywhere in Ireland or indeed Europe, Africa or the Middle East.
This is a challenging and rewarding, fully accredited, UCD course targeted at busy professionals and devised to hone the planning, organisational, control and leadership skills required to pursue or continue a high-level project management career. The programme equips participants with a broad perspective of project and programme management, as well as key business and interpersonal skills. The programme is academic led and supported by expert practitioners and involves applied learning through real-world company projects.
This delivery mode solves a problem for busy professionals who are time poor, would like to study part-time, and are attracted to a UCD qualification where they do not have to physically travel to class every week. This mode of delivery facilitates remote learning whilst enabling students based all over Ireland and indeed further afield to join our programme and build their network. Online classes are synchronous meaning students are required to join live online.
Graduates of this programme have flourished in roles such as Project Manager, Programme Planner, Project Engineer Development Manager or Management Consultant.
All students are entitled to Graduate Membership of the IMCA (Institute of Management Consultants & Advisors in Ireland) for the duration of the course and one-year post-qualification.  All students are also entitled to register as student members of the APM (Association for Project Management) for the duration of their studies.
