The UCD Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) degree has a long tradition at the forefront of business and management education in Ireland. The BComm provides a comprehensive and rigorous foundation in core business disciplines, whilst also allowing students to specialise in an area of business expertise. A globally-recognised business degree, designed for ambitious and achievement-orientated students who want to make a significant impact in the business world. Combining strong theoretical understanding with the practical skills needed for graduate employment, students are reassured of a challenging and relevant course for the modern business world.


You will learn about the recent themes and trends transforming the business landscape, such as globalisation, technological change, and environmental sustainability. Throughout their studies BComm students will develop a critical awareness of business trends,  issues, and developments and learn to demonstrate a strong analytical orientation towards decision-making and problem-solving.


At the end of Stage 2 students have the opportunity to complete a year-long paid industry internship extending their degree to four years of progressing directly to final year. Students have the option to study abroad for a trimester in the Spring Trimester of Stage 2.
