The
University of Notre Dame Australia is a national university, with campuses
across Australia in Sydney, Perth and Broome.
Notre Dame has a strong commitment to
honouring the individual and recognises that each student is graced with their
own gifts and talents. Notre Dame believes that higher education should prepare
students for a rich, fulfilling and reflective life, not just a career path.
Notre Dame has been rated 5 stars in the
Good Universities Guide 2025, undergraduate and postgraduate categories, for
Learner Engagement, Skills Development and Full-Time Employment.
A national Catholic university
A national Catholic university with more
than 11,000 students, our degrees offer practical, career-focused learning
which combines theoretical knowledge and workplace experience, as well as a
strong foundation in ethics, to help ensure students graduate job-ready.
Pastoral care is at the heart of our ethos –
including small class sizes, one-on-one contact with academic staff, mentoring
programs and counselling support. We provide tailored support programs for
international, interstate and regional students. We also focus on providing
students with access to career guidance, practical workplace experience and
direct links to employers.
We welcome people of all faiths or none at
all. As an academic community, we encourage open and rigorous enquiry, debate
and discussion.
Our campuses
Our Fremantle Campus is located in historic
buildings in the beachside city 20 minutes south of Perth, with leafy
courtyards and cafés all forming part of the quintessential university town
experience.
Our Broome Campus, located on the stunning,
tropical north-west coast of Australia, supports important connections with
local Indigenous communities and is home to the Nulungu Research Institute, the
Kimberley Centre for Remote Medical Training (KCRMT) (a Medical School
end-to-end program with students housed on campus), and the Majarlin
Kimberley Centre for Remote Health.
Our Broadway Campus, located in Sydney's
bustling inner-city university precinct, provides a welcoming social hub within
easy walking distance from the city's CBD and Central Station.
At our Darlinghurst Campus, also in Sydney,
Medical and Nursing students learn in excellent facilities, including simulated
wards and consultation suites, just a stone's throw from one of the country's
top medical facilities, St Vincent's Hospital.
Admission and selection
Notre Dame's admission process is
multifaceted and considers every applicant on an individual basis. While each
program has academic entry requirements, the University also considers the
whole person, as we recognise it requires more than academic excellence to
succeed in your chosen profession.
