This Major provides the theory and practical skills needed by today’s archaeologists, such as field research methods, to interpret past human behaviour. Areas of study include historical, Aboriginal and maritime archaeology, with a strong Western Australian and Australian focus.  In addition to these Archaeology courses, you will also be required to complete a Directed Science Research project which provides the opportunity for you to specialise in a particular area of interest and develop additional fieldwork and problem-solving skills.
