Our Master of Counselling is an innovative program which has been designed for graduates who would like to acquire the knowledge, skills and competencies required for counselling practice. Fully accredited by the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia, the program is made up of a combination of coursework, practical components. The Master of Counselling is based on the scientist/practitioner model and incorporates a significant practice component off Campus. This means that in addition to your coursework and research, you will be required to undertake a minimum of 120 hours at a counselling placement. Students are encouraged to complete more hours for their own training. Based on your client counselling experiences during your placement, you will also need to submit two case studies as part of your degree.
