The Doctoral Programme in Biology offered by FCUP aims to provide advanced education and training in all Biology fields, by promoting excellence through research beyond the limits of scientific knowledge.
Admission Requirements
The candidate must have: (i) a master's degree or equivalent in the field of biology or related area; (ii) a scientific research work plan, designed for three years; (iii) at least one declaration of acceptance of guidance of a PhD supervisor which will be a teacher or one of the qualified scientific researchers from one of the research units recognized by the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto.
