The Master's Degree in Teaching Geography (MEG) at FLUP is the first step of high level training and qualification of future Geography teachers. This course aims to equip students with the skills and adaptability necessary to better understand and resolve problems in a real educational environment. This, together with autonomous lifelong training, will allow students to acquire the tools needed for excellent professional practice. The course provides expert scientific and methodological training founded on research and innovation activities, as well as the development of interdisciplinary teaching skills in basic and secondary education.

Admission Requirements
To apply to U.Porto's 2nd cycle courses (Master’s degree courses), you must meet the following conditions: hold a Bachelor's degree or a legal equivalent in the fields specified by the school/faculty; hold a foreign higher education academic degree which is in compliance with the Bologna process or recognised by U.Porto as meeting the objectives of the Bachelor's degree; AND have an academic or professional career recognised by the University, which proves the applicant’s capability to enter the study cycle.
