Moldova State University (MSU) is based in Chișinău, the capital city of Moldova, and one of the country’s most economically prosperous areas.
MSU is the first higher education institution with university status established in the Republic of Moldova (founded in 1946).
The university recently celebrated its 79th birthday and is home to over 11,800 students.
Moldova State University values professionalism and quality, being an institution with traditions and values, oriented towards the development of scientific potential in the fields of training of specialists. MSU's study programs support creativity, entrepreneurship and the development of other general skills. The competences developed in the context of study programs originate from the analysis of the labor market, occupations, consultation with potential employers. To ensure general competences, the study programs include subjects aimed at the study of languages of international circulation, information technology tools and interpersonal communication skills.
Also, Moldova State University has the human, material and informational potential necessary for research and innovation in all areas related to scientific research activity, through research centers and laboratories, research institutions, and departments within the faculties.
