found the laws of organization and functioning of contemporary society. The diversity of the
manifestations of social phenomena requires the need for continuous adaptation of research
methods to capture their manifest and latent characteristics. The need to understand contemporary
societies through the application of sociological methodology is driven by the profound changes
we are witnessing. Ensuring prosperity and social well-being is determined by the level of
adaptation of policies and strategies to the needs of the beneficiaries, in which context the
application of sociological research methods will allow the collection of data and information that
will enable evidence-based policy making, which will allow the solution of social problems. In
this context, research and analysis skills are imminent in a society in a process of transformation,
