The program of studies 0711.3 Cosmetic and medical goods technology forms highly qualified professionals who have the competences accordingly with the national qualifications and can meet the demands of employers for the general field of study 071 Engineering and engineering trades and the professional field 0711 Chemical engineering and processes. The program forms specialists able to identify and apply theoretical and interdisciplinary knowledge in chemical technology of cosmetic and medicinal products; to apply various methods for determining the active principles in the raw material and in the cosmetic and medicinal products; to explain the principles of medicinal and cosmetic products manufacture and the connection between composition, structure and properties of the product; to apply different technologies in obtaining cosmetic and medicinal products; to perform chemical synthesis, to separate the pure compounds, to stabilize the composition and the specific properties of the obtained products; to optimize and elaborate the technological processes; to present the scientific information; to reasonably argue his own opinion; to adapt the professional message to different social-economic environments.
