Master of Education specializing in the Teaching of English as Second Language (TESL) is designed for language practitioners who wish to build on their TESL knowledge. Admission Requirements
Based on Programme Standards (Education) and Standard for Postgraduate:
Master’s Degree by Coursework
- A Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent, with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, as accepted by the HEP’s Senate; OR
- A Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent, not meeting CGPA of 2.50, can be accepted subject to a minimum of five (5) years working experience in a relevant field.
English Competency Requirement (International Students):
International students are required to achieve a minimum score of 6.0 in IELTS OR Malaysian University English Test (MUET) with Band 4 OR its equivalent.
