To further enhance the students’ employability and industry readiness, the students will undertake an industrial placement at the end of the program, gaining valuable real-world experience in hospitals, diagnostic laboratories, research centers or biomedical companies. Additionally, the students may opt for the mobility programme, which offers international exposure and enriches the students’ understanding of global biomedical practices, adding value to the knowledge and professional development.

With accreditation from the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) and the Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS, UK), this degree opens pathways to global career opportunities and professional certifications in healthcare, research, pharmaceuticals, and biotechnology.

Admission Requirements

PASS Matriculation/Pre-University/STPM programme or equivalent qualification with minimum GPA 2.33 in TWO of the following subjects:

  • Biology
  • Physics/Mathematics
  • Chemistry

OR

A-Level programme or equivalent qualification with minimum Grade D in TWO of the following subjects:

  • Biology
  • Physics/Mathematics
  • Chemistry

OR

Recognised Diploma with minimum CGPA of 2.75 in related field;

OR

Recognised Diploma with CGPA less than 2.75 in related field and a minimum of 3 years (36 months) working experience in the related field.

Obtained MUET Band 3 or IELTS (5.5)/TOEFL (550)
