Entrance Qualification Approval Letter

(JPT/BPP(U)1000-801/33/Jld.23(22) dated 11 May 2016)

i. Pass STPM / Matriculation / A-Level / Pre-University / Foundation or equivalent with at least Grade C (CGPA 2.50) in the following subjects:

  • Biology / Physics
  • Chemistry
  • AND 5 credits in SPM or equivalent, of which 3 in the following subjects:
  • Biology
  • Physics
  • Mathematics
  • Chemistry
  • English

ii. Pass Diploma (Level 4, MQF) in related fields with a CGPA of 2.50;

iii. Pass Diploma (Level 4, MQF) in related fields with a CGPA below 2.50 and a minimum of 2 years (24 months) of working experience in the same field;

iv. Pass The South Australian Matriculation (SAM) with a minimum score of at least 65–70% of the aggregate or TER / UAI 75;

v. Pass Canadian Pre-University (CPU) with at least a minimum of 80% aggregate;

vi. Pass Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with at least grade B in 5 subjects;

vii. Pass Diploma (Level 4, MQF) MARA Skills Institute (IKM) in related fields with a CGPA of 2.50;

viii. Pass Diploma (Level 4, MQF) of the Polytechnic in related fields with a CGPA of 2.50;

ix. Pass Diploma (Level 4, MQF) Community College in related fields with a CGPA of 2.50;

x. Pass Diploma (Level 4, MQF) Skills Malaysia (DKM) level 4 in related fields with a CGPA of 2.50;

xi. Other qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government.

English Language Requirement (International Students)

For international students, the candidates must reach at least the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) 6.0 or Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) writing 550 or equivalent.
