Data science is considered a cross-disciplinary subject composed of three significant aspects involving computer science, mathematics & statistics, as well as corresponding domain knowledge. Since the research and education quality of both National Taiwan University and Academia Sinica have long been internationally recognised and considered influential roles for the data science community, this joint degree program is supported by the two organization under solid cross-disciplinary cooperation. Data science degree program welcomes all students who are interested in pursuing further academic exploration in data science to apply for either Master or PhD classes of this program.
